Go order some F sport parts.

On the box it prints TRD and the TRD logo is plastered all over the box... no where does it say F sport, I thought I got shipped the wrong part at first.

The only F sport anywhere is the actual logo on the part itself.

F sport is merely a "division" or "series" within TRD parts, its like buying Tein SS coils as oppose to Tein blah and blah and then say Tein badge degrades your car, cuz you should only have SS badge and not Tein.

No, no TRD> Lexus= F-sport. Toyota=Toyota Racing Development, TRD.

Joe is right though, F-sport is made by TRD but Lexus went though all that trouble to bring us F-sport so we wouldn't have to put TRD on the car anymore.

I actually saw some girl in Atlanta with Altezza on her IS 350....I tried to wave her down but she ignored me.

^I agree with Mike - no TRD badges on my Lexus, thank you. If you like it more power to you but the fact remains there are no parts that TRD markets (remember, TRD doesn't "make" anything) as TRD for the Lexus 2nd Gen IS. Just because F-Sport is a division of TRD USA doesn't mean they are "TRD parts." As has been mentioned already, if you subscribe to that logic then there is no difference between the Lexus line and the Toyota line. But hey, if you like it then put it wherever you like it best!

Exactly......in 1996 it was cool to slap TRD on your Lexus (I know cause I had an ES in 96)...we then got "L-tuned" in 2000...the time now is for F-sport.

just curious for those of you who did put that on your front grill, what did you fasten it in with. Im pretty sure you didn't just stick it on there with the oem adhesive and call it a day.

I think it looks fine as long as it's not huge emblem like Honda V-Tech I see on the Civics, I'm gonna throw up.

If you have no TRD parts on your car, I vote no TRD badge. Don't put it on just to put another emblem on the car.

Even thou a Lexus is technically a Toyota, putting a TRD badge on your car will only give you 3hp rather than the 5hp it would give on a Toyota branded car.

Anyone asking weather they should add or delete badges should just expect some contoversy.

Why even ask the question? If you wanna know what people think i'll tell you. About 50% will like it and about 50% don't and in the end does it matter what people say? It shouldn't just be happy with it. Good thing it not a permanent mod so you can't go too wrong.

i think it looks ok. makes your car look different. in the end it's pretty much whatever you want your car to look like, no matter if F-Sport falls under TRD or not.
