^I've sat in that car, it's crazy. My favorite thing is that it uses a completely electrical (no mechanical linkage whatsoever) steering unit. So when the car is on, you get normal steering feedback. When the car is off, the steering wheel turns freely. It's sooo weird.

I doubt it would be hybrid only. If so, Lexus will take a plunge in sales.

 

I wouldn't be surprised if all future cars will be hybird. Didn't Obama mandate all new car sold starting 2016 should have at least 32mpg mileage? Better buy those IS-F now, no more high performance cars in the future.

 

Being a hybrid does not mean there will be no high performance cars. Hybrid technology allows for potentially increased performance vs the conventional engine.

 

i dont see a hybrid IS in the near future. it would defeat the purpose of a hybrid to add performance parts especially on a vehicle that looks pretty damn good modded (1st and 2nd gen).

I am very confident they will offer both gas/hybrid versions here...

 

I have a rental IS250H right now while my car is at the dealer ship.... this thing is a SLUG, I got passed up and cut off by a freaking prius !!!
