no kidding. most people think fully loaded is just nav and backup camera. there are boat loads of options missing and probably won't even possible to find a complete fully loaded unless if it was a show car.

in these economic times...i figure they are giving these things away. but like everyone said...in CA and FL you should be getting at least $5k off the sticker price plus TaxTagTitle especially if it was a car sitting on the lot.
This must have been an impulse buy right??

That's not a bad price at all if that was after TTL.
As far as the "$5000" off sticker as a reference... no can do. Every car maker uses a different margin between sticker and invoice. Some have a spread of only $1500 and others have a spread of $5000. As a general rule, cheaper cars have a smaller margin and more expensive cars have a higher margin (to work with). So, learn invoice first at places like Edmunds.com. And as someone said, always bargain off of invoice instead of sticker.
Lastly, have no regrets. We all live and learn and become smarter people. Know that you are wiser now and be happy with that fact.

Many folks here got over 5k off sticker (myself included)
The car maker has no say on how much over (or under) invoice the car sells for, that's entirely up to each individually owned and operated dealer.

One more thing... these high discounts off of sticker are possible due to factor incentives, not the dealer. I dealer cannot go under invoice and stay in business. The factory (Lexus) is offering these rebates. Some are announced to the public (usually with US car makers) and others are hidden (usually Lexus and higher end makes).

The tax break for vehicle sales tax is a -deduction- not a credit... so he'll get somewhere in the neighborhood of 10-35% of that 3k back, depending on his tax bracket...
