im about to do the upgrade from halogens to HIDs but still trying to decide which color would look good with my SGM. I would really appreciate it if people could post some pics of their HIDs on the SGM. im between 6000k or 10000k and if anyone has the 6500k kit how does that look is it a big diff then the 6000k.

I wouldn't go 10000k..it will be too purple
I current have 8000k and I'm very happy with it
6000k will be my next choice

I think 8k on SGM would look the best, i'm on 8k lows and 8k fogs

I'm on 6000K low and fog. Anything above 6000K are just for color.

pictures won't really show anything but bright lights and usually their not really what they appear in person. I suggest you find some local members to show you their HIDs if you want a real good idea on how bright they are

I have 8k right now but Im about to buy 6k. Blue attracts too many cops.

I like 6k! I agree with dangy, 8k is too blue!

6k is perfect. 8k is too blue and will make it difficult to see at night..

HUH^^^ I think its the other way around. Its alot clearer then stock bulbs just a little bit bluish. You should see when i used my high beams, everyone in front moves to the side lolz
