I don't get it. You're gonna lose money because of the economy and the depreciation. Then you have to buy another car. How much are you really expecting to clear to make a difference on a house down payment.
Seems like a lot of trouble for a small amount of money.

I agree a house is the more important thing but I just wanted you to think some more. Selling a car right now is tough. You may not get as much as you think. Certainly not as much as the book value. Then you have to buy another car. You obviously love cars so I know you're not gonna get a Kia or Hyundai. Unless it's the Hyundai Genesis coupe. But that's gonna cost what you make....maybe more. If you get a coupe you will definitely want wheels.

If your IS is almost paid for, just think about it, that's gonna be cash you can bank every month. It's already modded and will last many years.
I used to buy cars every couple years and it has cost me dearly.
Don't make the same mistake I did.

Super clean car! I was almost going to sell my car so we could I could build a house but couldn't do it. So we I'm gonna just live in a condo for a few years to build up equity and pay the cars off then go for the dream house then. I learned first hand form my friend that sold his STi and G35 to buy a house. He's never been the same since. Even his wife feels bad for making him do that. ha ha.

PS I'll take your JDM visors off your hands!
