Default 09 IS250 AWD Stutter On Takeoff

Just bought my first lexus, an 09 250 AWD and noticed what I consider a weird stutter when starting from a stop. Sitting in traffic behind cars from a dead stop when i begin to accelerate (in a straight line) there is a slight stutter in the car (the transmission). Looking at the driver's display it doesn't appear the transmission is switching gears from 1 to 2 at this point. Is this a by-product of the AWD? Doesn't happen again in any other gear.

My 07 IS350 often seems to take to long to decide what gear it wants to be in. Alot of cars do this. I believe it relates to computing speed of the control module. Since you just bought your car I would go by the dealer & ask them if they can do anything

You should feel the fluttering in the manual. It'll make you want to choke a *****.

my 09 AWD also does this so I'm guessing that is just how they are. What I also notice is my wheel turning to the right mostly and the left sometimes when I slam the brakes. Almost like the alignment is off. But the service department at my dealer is telling me that it is just the AWD..
