Maybe you can ask your dealership if they can special order you one.
Great find.

The first one would be perfect for my maltese. The second would be more realistic for my american eskimo. Wish they have something like this state's side.

I've got one and it works great. The only thing I have to clean after a trip is the nose juice on the window.

Those hammocks are a great idea...this is my boy Studley and he rides in the car once a week to go to doggy day camp to play with his friends while I am at work.

This is the worst part about being an IS lover and a dog lover.

My policy is that I only use the car for life or death emergencies, even then I'd grab them by their scruff and dangle them out the window to avoid loose fur... just kidding.

step 1: Brush the crap out of their fur. Get all the loose fur out.
Step 2, Queen size bedsheet over the back seat, tuck it into the crevasses between the seats and the car frame
Step 3, Then put on one of those Dog covers like in the pics above.
Step 4, duct tape a gym towel, covering the inside door of whatever window your dog likes to slobber/hang their head out of to avoid puking inside.

I have a 70 chocolate lab and he rides with me all the time, no issues. I have this seat cover that I secure to the head rests via bungee cords, then I tuck it in on the sides of the seats, works perfect.

All I need to do is wash the slobber off the window and nobody would know I ever had a dog in there.

Glad to see I'm not the only one putting a dog in there. People are like, "you put your dog in the Lex??".. .hell ya, it's not a damn Ferrari.

If you use some type of seat cover the dog will hit the floor everytime you have to make a sudden stop. The one I posted has a black back which can be reversed.

I bought a cover from Petsmart that loops around all 4 headrests to form a sling that totally fills the back seat. It's made of a water proof material. The material is not real thick so I bought one of those heavy "moving" type blankets from Amazon ($12) to put under the sling to protect the leather from toenails. So far so good.

The hammock I posted attaches the same way (Attaches to the head rests). I have a Pitbull (Had them for the last 35 years) with nails that seem to be made of metal and the hammock has held up for years. You will not need to put anything else under it.

I like the hammock idea. I have have not put my dog in my car yet due to the fact that he loves to run back and forth from the front to the back seats, and he loves to put his nose on the glass to try and look out
