3M tape that holds up to 5lbs will do the trick. Can be usually found at your local hardware or office supply store. It is a good alternative for individuals who don't want to drill or screw into their trunk.

Yep most oem spoilers are screwed on. But yeah use only 3M tapes. Cause thats what most of use used. And plus my wald spoiler is huge and the tape is doing its job pretty damn well. GL

The one's that come from the factory with the car when purchased are always screwed on. What I meant to imply is that individuals who have purchased an OEM spoiler, after purchasing an IS without an OEM spoiler are usually 50/50 in deciding whether or not to screw or just use 3M double sided tape to attach their spoiler.

For those who have theirs taped on, does it flex or bend when you put pressure on it? Like if you were waxing and applying a little force? Or if someone happened to lean on it? If it does bend, does that open it up to some cracks where water can enter in and fester? Just curious.

^^ nope its perfect. Well i can tell because my roof spoiler is still attach to the car. When you install anything with 3M tape i would suggest letting it heal for a week before you decide to wash your car to be on the safe side.
