Default IS-F body kit PLEASE help!

So I got rear ended the other day and I figured if my entire back needs to get redone, why not already put IS-F rear bumper and exhuast. Anyone know if its a problem, if its wider or will not fit, my body shop said if it fits they will put it on. Maybe also sideskirts??

the body is wider on an ISF than it is on a ISx50. also the exhaust would have to be modified to fit the x50 exhaust in front of the axle, and who know what it would sound like... im sure this all could be done but it would be alot of unnecessary work and money to modify the bumper and exhaust.

IMO i would just get a body kit that is made for the ISx50's...it would be alot easier and maybe cheaper after u calculate all the labor it would be to make the ISF stuff fit.

goodluck tho!

The rear bumper fits with no issues. All you have to do is take the tips off your factory mufflers.
The front and side skirts will not fit unless you get, front bumper, grill, hood, finders, headlights, and sideskirts.

I agree with you, to an extent. The rear will look more aggressive than the front and sides if you're getting just the IS-F rear. Also your car might look a little off if you end up running an IS-F rear with GFX front and sides. However, if you install a more aggressive front and side skirts (like a Wald or maybe Ings etc.) it might not look that bad.

If this is the route you want to take, just do it. You're the only one who's going to be driving the car. Post pics when the job is done. I'm interested in how it turns out. Good luck.

The answer to your question is Yes, the bumper will fit without issue. Do a search, it's been done. The tips on your exhaust will need to be removed. The ISF tips do not attach to the tail pipes. When your body shop orders the bumper cover, be sure he also orders the ISF exhaust tips, they mount on the bumper. Good Luck.

uh....just get IS bumper and call it a day
why try to be like IS-F? might as well just upgrade your car to IS-F if you want that look

but to answer to your question,,,yes,,it will fit,,you just gotta adjust your exhaust (cut, i think)
I believe someone already has done this....but if you ask me,,I wouldn't do it..

Why make your ISX50 look like an ISF. It just doesn't make sense. SMH

with the amount of money you would spend on the IS-F rear bumper and tips you could get a nice rear and front lip.
