Subscribe to https://techinfo.toyota.com for two days. It costs $15 US. Wiring diagrams are all accessed using a Java applet, so the only way to see them is through TIS or someone doing screen scrapes and saving the picture.

I replaced my old seats which were cloth and had no heating to preforated leather with heating and ventilation. The heating and ventilation doesn't work even though the light on the switch for the seats come on. Was hoping the wiring diagram would either show me what I'm missing or at least show me which wires on the switch to directly hook up to the seats in case the wiring has been disabled by the factory.

I have the same problem. Only my heating works, not venting. Never figured it out.

Did you check the fuses? There's a fuse for the seats. If it isn't there, you won't get anything.

Yup fuses are there, at least the ones under the dash are, not sure if there are any under the hood. I'm also not sure yet if the heating is working or not, how hot do the seats get? Not sure if the seats are heating or my mind is playing tricks on me.

Can someone confirm for me that the seats will only heat when someone is sitting on them and if this is true for the fans in the seat also? I also wanted to know if the seats are affected by the cars climate control. It seems that my seats are heating but only when I'm sitting on it and they are warm on setting 2. I'm wondering if the heated seats get super hot or are just warm.

Thanks, no need for the wiring diagram anymore. For anyone installing factory heated and ventilated seats in non-heated and ventilated IS250 the connection is plug and play if the wires are there. It seems that the seats only turn on when someone is sitting on them and also get hotter depending on the cabin tempurature. I assume it's hooked up to the climate control system.
