I've been researching some tire options for my new fsport wheel, but having a bit of a tough time finding info. So I figured I'd start a tire thread since there's isn't an all encompassing one.
Please state the
1. Brand/model
2. How long in lasted (mileage)
3. Sizes of tire
4. Price paid for st
5. Your location (for climate comparison)
6. Your opinion of the tire. (Noise/Handling)
What I'm looking for is tires that'll last me around 24-30k miles. I'm not an aggressive driver, but I do tend to speed up to change lanes in front of the car instead of from behind. I live in a hot climate (TX) and when it rains, it pours (floods even, only in spring). So I also don't need an all season tire as we rarely see snow. I'm looking for 265/30 for my rears and 225/35 for front. I'm also mindful of road noise.
So here's what I'm looking for (in this specific order)
1-minimal road noise (this is my daily driver)
2-great traction in dry road and good traction in rain (don't care about snow)
3-priced around 1k for set. 265/30 rears 225/35 fronts.
4-will last 24-30k miles
Thanks for everyone's help.

6. Your opinion of the tire. (Noise/Handling)
Noise - both were acceptable for noise, noise increases as tire wears, but not anything to be worried about being disruptive.
Handling - first tier street tires, both excellent in the wet, both good on turn in and predictable at the limits of adhesion. Excellent braking wet or dry.

My location is a dry climate in northern California so I haven't driven them in heavy rain yet. My impressions of noise and handling are good, comfort good. Previous tires for comparison were the OEM Bridgestones on 18's.

My info is probably too preliminary to be helpful, but I'll give it anyway. I have Toyo T1R's installed in April, miles accumulated are just over 3000, so no wear showing as expected. I am running 235-35-19 and 275-30-19 sizes, purchased with wheels so I don't have tire pricing alone.
