different color drl's and city lights

different color drl's and city lights
does anyone run yellow drls with white city lights or vice versa? i have yellow drls right now and am trying to decide which color to go with in terms of upgrading the city lights. since they are in the same housing, do they need to be the same color to look right? is the output on a white city light gonna look messed up b/c theres a big yellow bulb in the housing? excuse my lighting ignorance...

when your drl is on, your headlights are off, your parking lites are off.
when your drl is on, you can turn on just the parking lites by turning the light stalk 1click.
when your drl is off, your headlight lowbeams are on, your parking lites are on.
will a yellow bulb mess up the look? With the lites on, no, you cant be staring into the light housing with the lites on anyway, hurts your eyes. With the light off, no, BUT... looks are subjective.
Parking lites are cheep, if you dont like the look, you can always change them.
