As far as I can tell from the pics, doesn't look to be any significant damage to the front bumper. Doesn't look like anything was indented or "pushed in" Off the top of my head, I believe all you need is to have your bumper repainted.

Next time park somewhere else. Good luck.

is that a tear at the bumper? if it is then you gotta replace it, probably cost somewhere around 800

That would cost you a few hundred. Not a biggie.. pay up and it will look good again.

the left side looks like a tear... if so replace it... and a good opportunity to get a nice front lip kit

you would think that the is250 AWD which sits as high as an SUV would be easy to see, but still being a car it was kind of hard to see. i basically was practically 6 inches from the back of the car. whatever. **** happens, its life. ill take a few more pictures of the left scratch to see if it digs into the bumper.

moments later...

actually that scratch is right where the l-finesse lines vertically come down. it is where the exhaust tip hit and left an indent. it is pushed in about 2 mm. here are some more pics much to the delight of viewers and helpful clublexus posters

i dont really want to replace the bumper; maybe a sand, buff, and paint would suffice? cost for that?

lexus of pembroke pines sells bumpers unpainted for $250 + (cost of paint) = ?

Still looks like a 500$ fix to me...no need to replace bumper. Go find a professional body shop and see if it needs to be replaced or not...

I can get it done for $300 at a shop for a good repair and body work. But most likely it'll cost around 500-800 depending on where you go.

Ouch! GL with that one, i would agree with the others on the $500 fix. no need for a replacement.

its such a PITA especially with school starting and MCAT's coming up. Thanks for the replies and suggestions. I really appreciate it. I think its gonna be month I do anything.

But hey, at least i wont have bug splatter marks marinating the paint and rock chips afterwards.

btw, does anyone from northern NJ know any legit body shops? what about Prestige Lexus Collision Center vs. Caldwell Toyota Body shop?

It will be around ~$500 if they patch it up and repaint it.

It will be around ~$800 if you get a new bumper and have them paint it.
