Hi all,
So in looking for cars I am considering an IS (in addition to the GS) and wanted to know what the major differences are between an 06 IS and 07 IS.

Also which one would be a better bang for the buck?

the sharkfin, and with the 07 you don't need to do the pedal dance to shut off Vdim or VSC....that is it.

if you're looking at the white color, 06 and 07 are different. crystal white in 06 and starfire pearl in 07 and up.

This, the post right above me about the different white paints, and probably a couple thousand dollars as well.

I have an '06 IS that I bought new, and it is still in great shape.

The above, plus.........

1) the blue was also different.....Blue Onyx vs Black Sapphire.

2) the buttons for the Fuel and Trunk release are different. On the 06's one is above the other. On the 07's, they are next to each other

I have an 06 and the vin tag

info reads code 065 paint application. It is White Gold Crystal. Sorry, I tried to enlarge pic as much as possible.

The only recognizable change is the Sharkfin antenna as mention earlier...and different colors (hard to tell).
