I go Amsoil 0W-20 for my 11 IS. As for the 07 IS, I go with Amsoil or Mobile 1 0W-30.

Gonna try Mobil 1 Synthetic 0w30 instead of 5w30 seeing as i've done some research today that's pointed me that way

Let us know the results! I'm debating whether to go 0w-30 as well.

It's better for cold starts in cold weather. 0w-30 is more fluid than 5w-30 in colder temperatures.

Supposedly it helps with a bit of the fuel economy.

Been using the 0W's ever since they came out.

i've changed my oil to Mobil-1 5w30 extended performance and noticed my cam gear is starting to grind when warmed up. I've had my IS250 for a year now and never had that issue until the recent switch to extended performance not sure why..

I've always wondered about switching to the Mobil 1 Synthetic variations. But ultimately I've always just stuck with regular Mobil 1 Synthetic

Switched over to 0W30. Didn't really notice a difference (like I expected) except for the fact that start up after the car has been sitting overnight seems to be smoother now then when i was running 5w30. I'll probably stick to 0w30 just for that

Quick Reply: Oil Change - 5w-20 or 5w-30? What everyone is using?
