You should have bought your car 3.5 years ago. Back in 2005, I couldn't park or buy gas without getting peppered with questions and comments. Now the 2IS is so common that it's practically invisible. Like IS-SV said, a few tasteful mods can make it stand out from the crowd.

I think the layout of the IS is very sporty for a sedan. Add a nice drop, rear spoiler, some GFX (esp front lip) and it is pretty much good to go. Personally, I really like the stock 18s that come with the 08 350; add some spacers to these and they will really stand out.
A huge plus for this car is the modest price, but that price (at least for the 250) is what makes this car a little more common. You can grab a 250 for upper 20s low 30s. The 350 will set you back more, but, at least around here (NJ), they are rare.

everytime i drive i get ppl staring... sometimes its alittle disconcerting especially when they look like gangbangers...
i was driving with a friend thru traffic (hes my age, 40's) and crawled past a bus stop, there was this 13-15yr old girl staring at my car, my friend goes 'look the young tuna checking us out', me i kept looking ahead, we rode along in silence for about 20sec then he turns looks at me and says in a dead pan... 'i gotta get me one of these'

Depends on where you live...
Nevertheless, it's a stunning car when it's stock and you will get looks. I get looks even though my city is full of ISX50's (all stock lol).
If you mod it, you'll definitely turn heads.

I think properly modded IS350s (and 250s and ISFs) are eye-candy, but that's my own personal taste.
A stock IS350 is about as interesting to me as a stock BMW 3-series - worth a glance, but not a lingering glance.
