Default 8k d4s bulbs help

Hey guys, I just recently got some 8k d4s bulbs and my passenger side tends to flicker and then turn off... do you think is the bulb itself or the factory ballast?

test it out by putting the old bulbs back in and see.

If it does then it's the ballast.

Take it in for warranty if it's the ballast.

^ or you can swap the bulbs from side to side.

for some unknown reason and from what i've seen/read/heard, the oem HID system seems to not like certain aftermarket D4S bulbs.

i agree with this. try swapping side to side, if that doesn't work then get a better set. i did the same and my is-f doesn't like the bulbs for some reason. keeps turning off after a short amount of time. i just put my stocks back on and its back to normal.

The 8K looks brighter because of color temp in comparison to 3200K but its really not as much usable light.
Back in May my passenger bulb started doing that too, it would cut out after being on for 5-15 minutes and I replaced it with Garax. Going strong 3 months!
