Mine was treated with respect and a little awe. Plus, I hung out on the shop floor with the techs while they did the work and we talked cars the whole time.

this is one of the reactions I commonly get.. "Oh **** what the **** did you do now?.. you took your seats out? well if your gonna keep racing this thing you just as well take me with you sometime"
This is another one "your tires are flat in the back" (I DD them at 18ish PSI)

I "take" my car around the building to service and drop off the keys & call the advisor from my desk & explain what i need done

Ahhhh the advantages i have working for Lexus

LMAO!!

In all honesty, all the techs here take care of every customer car...

Wow, i cannot believe they would do that!!!

I told my tech. that i have plans on modifying the car, he said it's no problem unless i do major modifications motor/drive train wise.. but the IS250 has none of these, so i'm ok

They won't raise hell if you got all the mod done from the dealer and all parts are F-sport.

How do you guys get in touch with the techs?

They don't allow you into the work area over here. All I deal with is the service advisors which is just secondary salesmen post purchase

No problems here at Fremont dealership, I was treated very well at 30K service visit a couple weeks ago. They were checking out my aftermarket 19" wheels/Eibach springs. When I came to pick up car one of the techs came out to talk to me about the car.

Uh, my car isnt heavily modified but when I drive in everyone knows its me because of my CL decals. I dont talk to the techs but I talk my service guy. Hes pretty cool. I dont think he cares much for mods but every once in a while we would compare my car to another IS that was next to me. This was at Sewell Lexus, which most of you guys know.
