Default Educate me on TPMS

How do they work? Do they transfer information wireless-ly to the car to signify it when the pressure is low? I'm in the market for a new set of wheels and seeing if there are tricks to fooling the system. Do I have to use the sensor that my car originally came with or just buy some off the market? Sorry for so many question. Thanks

P.S. I know how to fool the system, but the DIY that I searched up, all the picture expired already.

Before buying your new wheels make sure the wheels is TPMS compatible so you can used your stock TPMS. I'm currently riding on my T1s and too lazy to put on my TPMS. Only problem is that the warning light is on the dash.

Look up pipe bomb.

Yea I know how to build it and stuff, but was wondering if I could just stick my TPMS onto TPMS compatible aftermarket wheels and call it a day.

Yeah. As long if the wheels is TPMS compatible then just use your stock TPMS. Most tires shop can do that.
