ROFL. Great quote!

I usually take whatever is available. Usually its an RX or an ES. On rare occasions of "Levus" loaner vehicles are all taken and I get a rental from Enterprise. Not as great as a Lexus loaner, but it still gets me from point A to B. I really don't want to leave my car at the dealership longer than I have too.

The OP should test drive a 350, you'll feel the difference right away.

2009 IS250
Ext:Starfire Pearl
Int: Black
Navi/no ML
No memory seats! (This is a useful tool for me because my wife and I both drive)

After driving the car for a few days I realized that the 2.5 liter V6 really does not have enough oomph. It doesnt really have any go to it, i felt that it was sluggish and the rear wheel drive took a second or two to realize that i want to push the car. Aside from this aspect of the car I really do like the exterior styling. The 2009 has the new tailights and turn signals on the side mirrors. The interior however is kind of dissapointing it seems plain to me even with the navigation, however, I do like the touch screen on the navigation. Wish my RX had navigation and I especially miss the bluetooth so that is a great feature to have. Overall for compact sport sedan I would give it a 7/10.

Any thoughts? First impressions?

simply why i got a 350 instead of the 250 lol

My neighbor just bought a 2010 RX350 with Navigation. My IS350 have navigation, ML sterro and lux package and his RX350 seems plain to me too

The more i drive the car though the more I want but I would get the 350 because of the power plus I really like the modding possibilities with these cars

I had the 250 before I purchased the 350 and it is night and day. The 250 sounded like it had power, but it didn't. I loved the look, but hated the performance and that was with RWD. I can't imagine how much worse the AWD version is.

I finally switch to Sport Mode yesterday. What a difference it made; much smoother shift. Also, I noticed the F Sport intake/exhaust were not as loud (decreased the noise level), at 3500 RPM. With Sport Mode OFF, you can hear the intake/exhaust open up at 3500 RPM.
