I'd rather not "experiment", I'd rather just get a straight up answer. Is this an ok sequence?

0-->15 mph along a turn (while in d mode) car auto shifts from 1st to 2nd gear

i paddle shift down to 1st gear, then mash the accelerator.

will the car go 1st-->2nd all the way up to 75 normally?
Hah youll be fine I do it all the time Ill go from any speed into the lowest possible gear most commonly 75 in 6th to 3rd

Well guys I tested it all out today and I must say I love S mode, it has solved this "problem"

More importantly, I decided to test out ECT PWR mode and holy **** I LOVE this mode, the automatic shifting is much more suitable for aggressive driving when in ECT PWR.

In fact, ECT PWR solved the "going into 2nd gear too quickly" issue all on its own and in general I just love it.

Yeah it eats up more gas but I'll live with it, that's what I want anyway. I'm not interested in "saving gas" to be quite honest although I will say normal mode does a great job in gas saving (~22+ MPG with driving in normal). I'm going to guess that with ECT PWR it will drop to 19 or maybe low 20s.

Must be looking for a mileage award. My F at the track got 5.3 mpg. Three 30 minute sessions consumed 15 gallons of gas.
