Default A/C Filter Change

Howdy.........

What's involved in changing or cleaning the a/c filter? Is this the same thing as the a/c cabin filter?

I tried a search here and came up empty so any help would be appreciated but, please, no guessing. If you really know that's great but not interested in guessing........thanks

Dan

ac filter and cabin filter are the same. it's really easy to change. just make sure it's in recirculate mode. complete instructions with diagrams are in your owners manual.

Thanks.............
I changed the cabin filter at 20K miles myself. Lexus (Newport Lexus, Newport Beach, CA wanted 90 bucks to do it) Took no more then 15 minutes......a piece of cake and the filter I purchased on-line for around 25 bucks.

Just wanted to make sure I didn't forget something else.....

out of all the cars i have with cabin filters, the IS is by far the easiest. u clean out the glove compartment, pull the plastic thing off, hit a button and its like something from Star Trek. latch opens and u pull the filter out. put new one in. hell pay me 90 bucks to do it
