If anyone has had an issue with an out of warranty claim that was referred to Lexus Customer Care, can you share your experience.

my steering wheels leather started to crack at 52k and I took it in 2k out of warranty and they replaced the wheel and called it a "good will" warranty

i'm glad to hear that lexus replaced your steering wheel even though it was out of warranty. good will goes a long way in this day and age.

I have a great experience with them....

I have an 01 IS300. On the the 01 model if you lost your master key they cant code you
a new key you have to buy a brand new ecu and key. The ecu and key was over 1600 with labor.

I heard that sometimes lexus will be nice and take care of the cost. At first they didnt want to do it. After a few calls they agreed to send me a check for the cost of parts. So they saved me about 1300 bucks. Great service!!!
