This isnt' so much a rip at my.is, more-so praise for Club Lexus forum moderators. I just wanted to praise CL and its members especially for being extremely helpful, dignified and responsive.

Sorting through my.is for information is like pulling teeth, not to mention the horrible meaningless banter that I see in almost every thread.

I have always felt my.is is more for the is300s. They only have very few posts on 2IS but a plethora of information on the is300. It's also a different environment than CL; apart of my.is's heart to have that banter and sometimes it's quite funny to read because at CL it's just not tolerated some of the stuff they say.

Both are enjoyable forums I started out on my.is. I go there for my entertainment and I come here to CL for my information.

I enjoy both forums... and I was on my.is more for my old IS300, and I got lots of good info there... of course there is some heckling and what not, but it's a fun site... there's just not much on there for the 2nd gen IS... I still frequent both sites though

my.is is rawr, CL is refined and easier to read and you don't have to be in fear of posting a picture, and having everyone flame you for it or telling you it's butt ugly. You can also post what you want for the most part without some moderator or something with more reputation giving you neg rep and tellin you you're an idiot or banning you from the forum.

Seen similar forums and heard stories. I hardly go on my.is haha

I enjoy both forums but seldom visit my.is Seems there is more info. for the IS300 and very little for the 2nd gen IS. Plus we have some great vendors here so I'm staying with CL

yah im on both and have a 1st gen IS...my.is does lean more toward the 1st gen since it started as is300.net...but the mods and general interaction with fellow peers are better here on CL!

my.is is 90% for IS300, people will flame you just because you have an 2IS which they think its a woman's car.

idk there are quite a few people who seem super strongly opinionated and can get a little routy.... i myself a few times =\

what i think ppl may not realize is that we may not actually know your personality and that things can come off wrong when just reading someone else's txt... so yea thats what i think. we could use a little bit of work on flamage

Guys appreciate all the positive feedback and your participation on CL. I myself am a member of both forums and read both daily (obviously I post over here a lot more often).

Both are great forums with a lot of accumulated knowledge, but have always had a different perspective and approach. Don't want to turn this into a cross-forum issue so I'm going to close the thread if you don't mind
