Default Question about JDM IS-F Tailights

Hey guys. I installed JDM IS-F Tailights on my 350 but can't seem to find what type of bulbs they are. I tried fitting my is350 bulbs into the JDM F tailights, and it wouldn't let me. The harness wouldnt even fit from is350 to IS-F tails and vice versa.

It seems like they were very strict in having the whole assembly as a whole for fitment.

My major questions is how can I retain the clear part without having the annoying ugly amber bulbs? I've looked into some chrome dipped bulbs that light up amber.

I know is350 tails use 7440 bulbs...

Anyone have a clue on what the bulb size is for the JDM IS-F tailights, and what type of bulb would be best to avoid the amber look?

The IS350 harness/bulbs are not compatible with JDM IS-F tails.

I replaced my stock bulbs with amber LEDs I got from v-leds, like these, but I experience hyper-blinking with them installed.

Not to highjack or anything but are JDM signal bulbs the same as USDM ones? Both ISF of course. I need to get some clear bulbs now too, you just made me realize this lol.

Very interesting. I want to make sure I have the same consistent blinkage from front and rear. So does this mean the bulbs i am looking for is 7440? anyone can back this info up? I am thinking if they have different types of 7440? for ex. 7440a, 7440b or something like that?

If your talking about the bulb harness from your IS350 not fitting into your ISF tails. What I did was i cut parts of the tabs on my stock harness. Match the harness to the mounting point of the tails and you can see its not much you have to cut. Once done it still holds on firmly, well mine does anyways.
