Default Anyone try Grom Audio iPod Adapter?

I saw that Grom Audio makes one for $80 that looks much like the Lexus Interface kit. Anyone try this out yet?

Their kit looks similar to vaistech in the way it connects to the Car.

This kit connects through the CD port, which means when you are in motion you MAY NOT be able to select playlists,albums etc...

But it looks like a good deal. Just dont know how it organizes all the features on the navi screen.

Did anyone try this yet? I'm looking for a solution and this one looks like it might be viable.

Here are my goals:
* IPOD Integration w/steering controls
* USB Integration (for my new EVO) w/steering controls
* Don't lose Satellite, CD Changer, etc.

I could use some updated information on this topic. The only current information I've found in here generally revolves around Vaistech solutions, which are a little spendy (plus they never return my calls).

Do the navi hack and you can play do all of that while moving.

The Dice Silverline Pro is the most popular for a basic ipod install. If you want USB also, Dice has the Media Bridge (same idea but USB-based).

I have Grom on my IS300. I like it quite a bit. Just wanted something that could manipulate my iPhone, so instead of piddling around with my iPhone, I could just use the head unit. Been considering getting a GROM or VAIS for my IS350... if you get it, post up how it goes and such!

is there an interface or something similar to GROM that would come with a small LCD (~4") that i can mount on the dash so i can browse easily? something like alpine ex10 but better with less cables that would be easily installed in 06+ IS

Same question, Also does anyone know how this works with a non nav car? can I select individual albums or do I have to go with playlists? Has anyone installed the bluetooth dongle?
