you can use the nav screen from any IS...dont need the ML in particular. YOu just need to use the ML changer/radio off the old one...unless thats somehow damaged too.
If it is damaged it would be only the front interface unit which can be swapped with any radio.

you may want to shoot brtnrdr1x a pm, i know he's trying to get a unit off of his hands.
BTW car-parts.com is a great resource, ive used them on many occasions, i would suggest you use them to locate the part that is close to you and then go there and view the item.
nav screens are under gps, and then display only. a good price should start at like $700, it doesn't have to be ML its only the display all of them are the same.
another way to save money would be for you to remove the nav disc player which also could be sold separately in order to generate some revenue for the purchase.

ebay good luck trying to find for under 3g's rite now believe me i'm on top of these nav's like a hawk lmao..as 350PsDMeuP sedd i have a full dash unit on me right now, right place at right time so it was meant to be unfortunately haha! i bought it full it's ML also so if you were even worried to the slightest your in luck. im going to my audio/video shop tomorrow morning to swap my non-ML nav to ML-nav with just the ML DVD part which you already have. If your screen is just cracked I can send this thing out within a week. PM me for pricing I gotta figure it out but I don't need the whole piece just the DVD player..take it easy next time, the IS is small for those things lol made my night man!

Sorry to hear about your accident. Going to a junkyard would be the cheapest way to go, but like others have already said, it might be a little difficult finding one there. In the end, you might have to bite the bullet and get a new one from the dealership. Good luck on your findings, and hopefully everything works out. Give us an update when its done.

best and cheapest route is probably car-parts.com
a tech at my dealership said someone broke their navi screen in the GS by punching it because he was pissed off at his wife. He ended up picking up a whole navi unit from a junkyard for 700 bucks. pretty sweet deal if you ask me.
