I have this condition called proctalgia fugax which is often triggered by sitting on uncomfortable surfaces for a long time.

And..i have NO issues with the seats, I have an '09 if it matters. I am 6'0" 170 lbs. I'm not really in shape. I'm not fat I'm just "normal". Not a beefy guy, not a fat guy. My *** is probably a tad bit chubby.

OK just to chime in - 6' 2" 220 lbs, 44L suit, 36" pants. Yeah I'm Asian - wanna fight about it (Hogan's Heroes...chill). I commute almost 2 hours a day 5 days a week and have near zero seat discomfort. I do have the JP neckpads. Seat most of the way back, steering wheel telescoped out all the way, bottom cushion angled all the way up in the front. I like the lumbar where it is.

my *** went numb just reading that.

Anyways ive leaned the seat back some more and scooted forward in the seat a little.. it helps a little.. i think the problem is at the rearmost portion of the bottom cushion. unfortunately that is just an awkward driving position for me. oh well

HOLY SHT..

what a road trip... The is350 is one of the most comfortable car in its class. The 335 is so harsh and the leather is so rough it is very uncomfortable for long road trips.

However, I still haven't found the sweet spot on my is350 either. I don't know how to use the lumbar support, etc.

Man, I hope you guys know our body relax/constrict during the day. Early in the morning, your body more relax/taller. Afternoon, it get more tense/stress. So moving the seat around are normal for some folks.

Im 5'6 170 lbs, and the seat are fine. Used to be 187 lbs, and it was still fine.

Side note, I just came back from a road trip...West coast all the way to Portland/Mt. Glacier Montana/Yellowstone/Mt. Rushmore/Chicago/Canada/Niagara Falls...then to D.C. and came back in 9 days. 7400 miles on a rental Tahoe.

No matter what the car, there will be people that don't like the seats. Go to any forum and you'll find this thread. That said, I think the Is seats stink for anything but a 30 minute commute. After an hour both Me and the Wife are squirming around, trying to get comfortable. 2 hours and my back hurts like hell. I drove my C6 for 8 hours straight without complaint. Go to corvetteforum.com, people complain constantly about the crappy seats on the Vette. Personally, I wish I had my vette back.

I love my 350s seats, very comfortable. The only issue I have is that the sides don't hug me when I'm turning fast. I tend to slide around the seat. Think I might have to buy some IS-F front seats when I can find a pair. Now those things are comfortable and hold you in your place!

sorry to bring back old thread. i have an awful problem with my is250 awd seat. the trans hump casues me shift my hips to the left making my previous back injury worse. 2 years later i just realized the car was preventing me from getting better after driving the wifes rx350 for a week. anyone know if the non awd provide better leg placement?

The bump is due to the AWD. The RWD ISX50 do not have this bump.
