Default anyone fix their drivers seat discomfort issues?

I just cant get comfortable in the drivers seat. ive had my car 9 months, im 5'9" 160pounds, average 30-32 waist so im not a fat ***... but i just cant get comfortable in the drivers seat. it feels like im sittin on a thick wallet, but i havent kept a wallet in my back pocket in years. no matter how much i shift, it hurts the right half of my ***!

the other day i ended up having a lingering pain down my right leg afterwards.

ive actually had the cushion replaced by the dealer once already, and i thought it felt a little better at first, but now its back to hurting. no matter the number of adjustments, on a drive longer than 10 minutes the seat is jsut flat out uncomfortable. this has to be a design flaw of some sort, since i have NEVER had pain in the past, nor to I get pain from other seats now... its just this car.

i feel like the seat isnt wide enough on the bottom cushion and the thigh bolsters come in too far so i end up putting more pressure on my butt than normal.... how skinny are japanese guys?! a 30 or 32 inch waist shouldnt have any issues with a seat right?

ps- i also agree that the lumbar is incorrectly placed, its much too high in the back.

I am not japanese but I am another Asian ethnicity... 5'9" 130 pounds waist size 26-28. The seat is rather comfortable for me.

I didn't know there was a discomfort issue. I'm asian as well, 5'11", 32 waist, 170 lbs, so far the seat has been comfortable for me. Have the dealer look at it again?

I raised the front of the seat all the way to support my thighs and the pain went away. I know exactly what you're talking about. 6'2" 225 lbs.

I'm about 190cm (6'3?) and sit all way down and quite far back. I find it a little bit uncomfortable when I drive longer than 20 minutes. I'll start to feel the pain in my left leg and toward the ***... It's weird that after a while of driving I find myself not sitting straight and have to adjust my sitting from time to time. Never had this problem in other cars I drove before...

6'-2" 190#'s and I find my seat to be uncomfotable after a while too. It is just too narrow. But for us "bigger" guys lets face it, the interior of the car is small, plenty of leg room but no head room.

Agree with Bodz123 on the lack of the head room. We can allway open the sunroof to make a bit room for our head. LOL

I'm 5'10" 175, and am comfortable in mine

There's a pic of me sitting in my seat around in another thread somewhere.

I'm 5'10", 168 lbs, 32" and I don't really have much of a problem... I think lobuxracer's suggestion of raising the front of the seat may be a good idea though. Hope it works!

5'10" 180 lbs and no issues. Sometimes I get too comfortable on long drives and have to put my seat straight up
