I know its common for Mini Cooper owners to wave at each other...it has been their tradition to do so.

But what about the IS/Lexus community. Do you guys wave at other modded IS/Lexus owners?

I seem to get challenged, not waved at. And I am hardly modded. Sadly, this behavior has soured my opinion of some modders, but it is a bit comical and entertaining watching someone waste fuel. Maybe it's an L.A. thing (?) or the fact I drive with all my windows down, giving a view in and adding a personal draw (?). The psychology of it interests me (good topic here).

I hardly see any. All of the ones I see are stock and obviously not from CL. Nobody waves at me because my car is stock

I have been waved at by another MRM with a mid 40's male driver, but i have yet to see EVEN ONE modded 2IS in Cleveland besides mine.

I envy all you guys in Cali and all over the west coast, i'd love to wave to some 2IS owners!

I rarely see modded IS, the ones I see are either full chrome grills- rest stock, or smoked tails- rest stock. lol

Usually I'm too pre-occupied with driving to notice another IS. However, whenever I do see another modded IS, I do attempt a wave. I either get one back or nothing at all.

yea i don't see modded IS's so much, but whenever i see any lexus on rims or any modded lexus i wave..... have yet to be waved back at or even get more than a quick glance then looking straight forward on the road

True story i gave a nod to a modded 2IS next to me by a cute asian girl and she winked back. LOL Too bad she took off when the light turned green and turned in some random road.
