Default Why are these IS-F tails so cheap??

Found these taillights on e-bay and was confused on why it was so cheap because i thought is-F tails go for about 300 EACH taillight and these are only 250 for both taillights. What's going on?

Those are not OEM tail-lights. They are replicas.

^^what he said.

do a search on ebay led tail lights and you'll see the difference between the lights. some like the ebay ones over the real ones. there should be pictures of side by side comparisons.

It is also to be noted that buying on eBay has its pros and cons. While you can find a lot of stuff, most of it is not OEM equipment and you can't really know exactly what you're buying until it is delivered to your front door. And then if you don't like it, returning it is enough of a hassle to drive a completely sane man bat**** crazy.

I can't view the pic - firewall.

Can you tell if they are replicas? If not, I say its a good buy with our economic stage right now.

change your firewall settings then! haha jk

umm they look pretty legit to me. can't really tell that they're replicas. yeah that's true, at this economic stage right now, spending $600 just to clear out the amber signals will make people think you're crazy lol. but i still want to make sure from some people on the forums that these replicas will work just as well as the oem ones.

I believe Eagle Eye, who has an ebay store, made mine. No problems for me, outside of having to do a slight modification to a connector they came with, to mate snug to the OEM harness. Otherwise, they look and fit identical to OEM. 9/10 on my subjective scale.

Of note, the LED pattern on these lights are different than the actual F lights**, so while styled similar, they are different. Make sure what you're interested in, is what you'll actually get.

i'm definitely going with the e-bay tails now cause i like the LEDs. my only question now is which vendor should i buy it from. Do you think you can find me a reputable seller?
