20" Guru's: 285/25/20 on 20x10.5 +45 rear - should be okay, right?

I think it would be "too" much tire for the IS. I would stick with a 275 but it sure would look sick from the rear to see a 285 or 295

I would never go below 35series tires.
once you go over a bump fast, dents inside your rims.

I used to run 285-30-20 nitto invo on 9.5 +35 offset, it rub about half of an inch, after i rolled my fender it work fine, but I run on stock suspension, it flush.
But I have the tires on for about 20 miles, and change to 255, because nitto invo don't make 265 or 275 for 20". it only made 255 or 285. I am thinking to order 2 more wheels 20x10.5 with +45 offset, so I can put 285 invo on, and rotate 20x9.5 to the front, all I want to be widest wheels is possible for the IS. 285 nitto invo look very wide in person, it's over 11" wide, and about 28lbs
