Where you 20' guru's at!!!
I'm thinking of running these sizes on my wifey's car:
Front: 235/30/20 on 20x9 +38
Rear 285/25/20 on 20x10.5 +45
Car has modest drop (Eibach springs) - question - Rub? To me, the offsets look modest enough, nothing Hella... but I'm also not on the 'up and up' on 20's... please help!
If this works out, I think she'll be the first to be running staggered 20's on an AWD!

A couple of years late to be the first, here's some reference material for you:
https://www.clublexus.com/forums/is-...ed-wheels.html
I really don't see the need to run a 285 in the rear on a 10.5 wheel, unless you want that particular look. I'm running a 265 on my 10.5 rear, and it's not even stretching, it's within manufacturer spec. I also hope your wifey is prepared for the drastic change in ride quality.

I've should of mentioned this is all to keep the rolling diameter of the front and rear tires the same (she drives an IS250AWD).
Thats why I want to go with these sizes, because the roling diameter is exactly 25.6 for both front and rear...
Right now she rides on 19's... 20's shouldn't be THAT big a jump.
But my main questions is will these fit at these offsets?

well keeping in mind that this is an AWD and the rolling diameter has to be the same, what ALL SEASON tires would you recommend?
Live in NJ and wont be changing tires every season.
I found General Tires to offer the largest selection of sizes... the only ones I've found to work are the ones I mentioned above, but here is the list so perhaps you can find something I'm missing:

I also don't honestly see how a 285/25 will rub. The norm that people run with these are 275/30/20's and at a +45 they don't rub, so why would a 285/25 rub. Wider yes? But more smaller sidewall... and keep in mind these are on Eibach's, not dumped on coils.

A 20x10.5 +45 is the same offset as a 19x9.5 +31 offset correct?
Well right now I'm running a 19x9.5 +22 offset without rubbing... according to my experience - I think a 20x10.5 +45 with a 285/25 SHOULD be fine...
anyone running these or similar tires... or anyone running these offsets that can give me first hand experience instead of saying "285 will rub" with no further helpfull information?

285 is more likely to rub because it's a wider tire - doesn't really have anything to do with the sidwall. I ran 20's with Eibachs on my IS in the past, and 275 was pushing it. You have to remember that on the same brand/model tire, a 285 is 10mm wider than a 275 tire, so when your suspension gets compressed going over bumps, dips and what not, that's when you'll experience the rubbing.

Granted a 285 tires is a HUGE tire! But having it on a fairly large 10.5 wheel should help with bulge. I'm not putting this on a 9.5 inch rim or anything... so it should alleviate the bulge a little.... that along with the relatively reserved +45 offset... it my math, it looks to be okay.
If it helps at all to figure it out, right now she is running 8.5's in the rear +20 offset...
