TPMS sensor for aftermarket wheel
Hey guys,
I'll be buying aftermarket wheels soon so i'm researching about the compatibility of the TPMS (tire pressure sensor). Will our stock TPMS sensor fit into aftermarket wheels? i read somewhere that you can buy a rebuilt kit/remounting kit for the stock TPMS sensor (stock wheels) can be transferred to the new aftermarket wheel is this correct?
What model or specific brand should i order for this rebuilt/remounting TPMS kit? Is there any other way no to buy a brand new TPMS kit for the aftermarket wheel, kinda expensive for a brand new one. Is there such thing as TPMS specific to a certain kind of aftermarket wheel or is it compatible to all? And for the reprogramming of the TPMS, do i need to go to my local dealer to reprogram it or it will program by it self?
I'll be going to LA this sept 18 and was hoping to buy the parts i need for my aftermarket wheel since i'm based in the Philippines. Do you know a shop where i can get the parts i need in LA/Vegas area?
Sorry for the multiple questions, i have no idea about our TPMS sensors. Advance thanks for the advises and comments

okay, the cheapest and fest solution is purchasing aftermarket retrofit kit, I know a aftermarket TPMS brand "Orange" around $150~$170, they also provide racing car. I've carried one from Belle Tire, so far so great. U could think about it.

I didn't have an extra hole drilled into my 3 piece DPE wheels (meaning they weren't TPMS compatible). Instead I used the 90 degree angle adapter, and my stock TPMS work fine. I believe the straight adapter is used for 2 piece wheels, and the 90 degree adpater is used for 3 piece wheels.
