Default urgent need help! problem with puddle light

hey guys i successfully finished installing the driver side mirror last night for my 2is in a 194 led in red, i finished the passenger side today and weirdly once i put the led into the socket it wouldnt work( note this is in the correct fitment due to the socket) and surprisingly it did not work, however when i flipped it upside down and inserted it, then it began to work but the problem is that now the wedge bulb is facing opposite of the lens. is there a way to fix this or is my bulb defective?

nope, the connectors on each side is different. one side is + and one is - hence you have to plug them into the correct side. order the flank ones from v-led or ebay and you'll be fine

they are 194 flank LED as that makes sense cus it is only pointing down, the driver side works fine but the passenger side oddly only works if you flip the led facing upwards... i notice that if put the led in the passenger side the facin down it blinks for a second when i unlcok the car so i think it is the led... i sent it back to v-leds for a replacement of that bad one.

try this, wiggle the flank out a little. sometime if you push the circuit in too far the connectors dont get full contact and they wont turn on. sounds stupid but sure enough thats what happened to me

ive noticed some flanks *of the same type* from vleds dont have a polarity module... pisses me off when you get a pair like that... you can always cut the wires and swap them... anytime you mod a car dont expect everything to work perfectly, sometimes alittle modification/fabrication is needed.
