Smile IS-350 in Toronto Snow

I just bought a 2010 IS-350 for delivery in a couple of weeks. My question is which snow tires will give me combination of the best performance/lowest noise, etc. I live in Toronto so get a fair amount of snow. I'm getting luxury/premium package so I think 18" wheels come with the car. As a matter of saving expense (and avoiding primitive looks) I'm thinking of using the same wheels as the stock all season tires. Anyone have some insight?

I had the Blizzak LM25 on my IS and they where great. I have the Micheline Aplina 3 on my GS and they seem okay. I would go with the Blizzak.
