Default Lexus GFX side skirt?

Lexus dealer told me the GFX side skirt does not have a significant difference from OEM - almost identical.

If that is the case, why f#cken sell the damn side skirt if you can't notice a huge difference!

Anyway, is that really true? You can't tell the difference from OEM side skirt to Lexus GFX side skirt?

when ever i see a 2is with the gfx front lip i always question myself as to whether that car has the side skirt as well. so i can barley tell. i think the only ppl that would be able to tell if u got them are ppl that have them on their own 2is. dont think anyone else on the street would ever notice

the gfx side skirts flare out a little bit more, but to casual observers they look identical.

Thats what I recollect when I saw the side skirt...it has slightly more flare.

So you guys think its worth buying or shall I just get something more noticable like INGs+ or maybe even Wald?

I ordered the Lexon front lip, so I need side skirt and rear skirt that will flow smoothly.

Some members said the GFX side skirt and rear skirt has a clean look, and it goes well with the Lexon front lip.

The GFX side skirt is designed to be subtle. Keep in mind that we're talking about a body kit designed by the manufacturer - its got to appeal to the average Lexus buyer.

Yes, there is a noticeable difference, but it's obviously nothing like an aftermarket kit. However, the Lexon front lip is also pretty subtle (assuming that I'm thinking about the right one). You'd probably be fine with the GFX kit.

There's not much difference in look if you don't know where to look. To me it's waste that's why I have the rest except side skirts.

Put it this way, once you have it you wouldn't want to go back to your stock sideskirts. For ~$100 I think it's worth it. If anything you can at least say you have a complete GFX kit.

very subtle difference, but you can definitely see it when your car is lowered. pictures also dont do it much justice, i decided against buying it, then saw it on javy's car in person and realized i need to buy it.

to the average person the sideskirts probably won't be noticeable, but you will notice the difference once they're on.

eh... I just went with the front and rear GFX... looks great to anyone who's seen it. The sides are too subtle a difference for me. Anyway, it's so cheap, if you change your mind, it won't cost much to get the sides later.

But remember, they have discontinued the kit for 06-08 so if you one, you might as well get it while there are still some colors left.
