There's more than one _luxury_ package, specifically it's with, or without, 18" wheels.
There's only ever been one premium package, and it has never been "standard"...that's why it's a package. And it is the heated/vented seats and woodgrain (for 06-09) and just the vented seats and woodgrain (for 2010).
Wheels and lights never had anything to do with the premium package.
HIDs have never been standard, and the only change to HID optioning at all was when they changed 06->07 the HIDs became available by themselves as an option, rather than only as part of the Lux or Sport packages.
Many on-the-lot cars in certain regions might have typically come optioned with a given package, but it doesn't make it standard, it just makes it common for a car sold someplace to have a given option package...and you can always get any package in any area of the country with a special order.
(again, the above is for RWD US cars, before the canada guys start pointing out all the differences in how theirs come)

Has anyone noticed that the rear bumper is different. It doesn't have the black insert on bottom in the pics shown in the exterior colors gallery (looks more like 06-08 bumper) I wonder if that is just a screw up on the website.

They are also still showing a "Line" on some of the bottom front bumper pics...
That was there all last year too.....

Some of those pix are photo shopped, because they've been the same at least since '07, when I got my car.

AH HA !! something everybody did not notice, 2010 IS 350 0-60 acceleration is 5.3 seconds instead of the old 5.6 seconds. it shows on the posters on the lexus site, but specification page still shows 5.6
but somewhat disappointing is that the horsepower did not increase and no major changes? and where is the heads up display?

The traffic and weather option sucks IMHO. I love when I am sitting in traffic and the system says nothing. On a technical level it is simply impossible to cover every road in the US. As for weather...I have been alerted that severe weather was in the area, whatever that means, I can look up in the sky too. Sorry, not a fan...I will not be renewing XM...ive tried it, does nothing for me.

Case in point the other night. There was a 20 mile back up on the highway, no notice of it on XM traffic. Of course, I was 30 miles from home, so not sure backroads would have helped me at all. Sometimes it is just nice to know how far away the accident, or back up is.
If I am going into NYC I always check the internet, once again though if its rush hour, the difference is 60 min or 90 min. Oh well, I guess I should not complain or move lol.
