Default 2006 IS250 Base, how much

Didn't know where my other post went, but here it is. I want to buy this vehicle for my brother.

They have "smart pricing" meaning they don't haggle... great haha.

What's a fair price for this?

In a normal market, that would be an OK price for a 3-4 year old, base, IS250. In today's market, I think they are dreaming. They probably gave the previous owner 1/2 that crying "there's no market for used cars just now"!

We went to drive it today. It's an off-lease vehicle. It might have been sitting for a little bit since when we drove it there was this moldy smell or something in the car. Something didn't smell right. The salesman said it wasn't smoke and I didn't think it was smoke.

They don't negotiate at all, is there anyway to know what features or full feature this has according to the VIN?

Any lexus dealer can tell you what options it came with using the VIN.

It's pretty easy to tell just by looking at the car though...it's hard to tell from the pics, it LOOKS like it doesn't have memory seats. That, combined with the woodgrain, means it has the premium package. No Lux package, no sport package, no nav, no ML. It appears to have base 17" wheels too.

Pretty much it appears to be a totally base model except for the premium package (woodgrain and heated/vented seats).

Yea, I think that seems right. Ventilated and heated seats, wood grain.

It drove great, low miles, RWD and pretty much what we're looking for. Damn this smart pricing. Hope to be buying this week if things work out. I'm going to have them run the a/c a bit longer next time before I drive to see if that smell goes away.
