Staggered setup on AWD ! - The Mother Thread - !

Just a heads up, Megan EZ coils have soft spring rates that don't work well with aggressive wheels like the specs you posted above. You should either go with different coils with stiffer spring rates, or get less aggressive wheels. If you do go with the combo you mentioned, it's definitely going to be a headache.

Thanks for the response guys!
I think im going a different direction now then.
19x9.5 +30 all around... would that be good?
What tires do i need so it doesnt ruin my awd system? Im rolling rear fenders.
225/35/19 all around?

Here is my AWD on Megan EZ maxed out. For anyone interested in getting the Megan EZ with plans of slamming it on an aggressive setup...Don't. Get something with a stiffer spring rate. Otherwise, they're great for daily driving.

Sorry about the crappy iphone pics. Don't really do the car justice

Need your help guys
Ok I need advise on a very modest setup close to OEM spec. I do not want to lower my car or roll the insides of the fender , basically I do not want my wheels to rub at the same time want my ride to look a little better than OEM.
So I go to tirerack.com and choose the following tire size. Please advise if this will look ok and not create any problem for my ride quality or fenders.
2010 IS 300/250 OEM tires 225 / 45 / R17 front and 245 / 45 / R17 rear.
My question is ,on the same wheels can I mount 235 / 45 / R17 up front and 265 / 40 / R17 in the rear without doing any fender modifications or making tires look odd ?
Is there any problem due the difference in AR between 45 and 40 for front and rear , will it look bad or spoil my ride quality ?

I'm new to club lexus and figured I better start somewhere.
Over the weekend i finally got around to putting a set of Borbet style 95's from a BMW 7-series on my awd 2IS.
Front 19x9 et 24 215-35-19
Rear 19x10 et 24 225-35-19
dropped on road magnet springs with no rubbing.
Can't wait for my BC coils so i can go low!
