That is nearly 2" of difference in overall diameter which is not recommended at all for AWD. The only way it'll work is if you purchase all 4 exact same sizes of either Front or Rear.

2 Examples of what WILL work on oem 18's:

225/45/18
255/40/18

or

225/40/18
255/35/18

Before you say "No, your wrong", please read again what his question was from the start. He specifically tried to re-ask what Chekmi21 member's question was, "Will the OEM IS250/IS350 18s with the OEM tires size work on AWD?"

The 18" OEM Tires size was quoted from 4tehnguyen
https://www.clublexus.com/forums/is-...our-setup.html

I never said he cannot run staggered on AWD, I said he shouldn't with the 18" OEM Tire size. And I know you can run staggered on AWD, that's what I've been riding for the past 1.5 years..

What is with people always jumping to say No youre wrong, no thats dumb, no thats false.

How about Yes... and this? Yes but that?

What is worse is they dont even bother to read.

I'm thinking about getting an ISX50 AWD in the next week or so. I have a set of WORK S1 Meisters (3PC) that I had on my G35 Coupe and I wanna put them on the IS.

Current Set-up:

F: 19 x 9.5 +24 in BFG KDW2 245/35/19
R: 19 x 10.5 +23 in Toyo T1-R 275/35/19

What tire sizes do you recommend?

Spoon and xjonmo:

Your best tire combination to go for is 235/35/19 and 275/30/19. Using these two will bring you within .08% difference. You can also opt for 225/35/19 and 265/30/19 which will bring you within .19% difference. Using these setups should allow you a range of wheels from 8.5-9" in the front and 9.5-10" in the front comfortably.

xjonmo, unfortunately with your set of wheels, I'm afraid those will require a bit of fender work to get them in...Following the recommended tire sizes you'll need to stretch a bit too.

Hey guys, i have a set of volks gt-7 in sbc... 19x8.5 +36mm with 245/35 falken tires all around. Would i be able to just leave the fronts alone (maybe roll the fronts a tad and move the bumper screw forward) and run a 10 or 15mm spacers in the rear with no problems? thanks in advance...

I know i'm a newb to the larger rear wheel panels. i'm running 18x9.5 +15 with 255/35 on my evo with no problems at all.

are these for your evo or the IS? You can run much more aggressive offsets on the evo. *****, I had 19x10's +22 with 285/30's on my last evo. But the IS doesnt take offsets like that unfortunately.

Your front should be aight without roll on that offset. I run 19x9+35 front without a issue with less than a finger gap. As for the rear maybe a roll with the 15mm spacer, but it all depends on your drop and tire size. Better off with 235-35-18 or 225-40-18 all around.

Thanks for the reply, but this setup is for my 08 is250 awd. I previously had these volks on my evo before switching to a new set on the evo which are enkei rpf1 18x9.5 +15 w 255/35 tires. I have these volks in storage collecting dust, so I figured why not put it on the lexus since the tires are nearly 65% tread left.

Thanks for the reply, im sure the offset is fine but my concern are the 245/35 tires. Every search Ive read people are running smaller size tires but in my opinion, 225 wide are a tad bit small. I want some meat, lol... I figured the tires on there now are still good, didn't want to waste the money for tires if not needed.
