Default I want to install a bodykit but... one question..

Okay, I'm thinking about installing a bodykit. I'm a bit new to all this car modding stuff, basically I'm a noob. haha, but does installing a front lip or anything cause any damages to your car? Say, (for example), if I take off the front lip & want to go stock.. would there be any holes or anything noticeable?

so if you take off your lip, would it ruin the paint or anything?

all i can think of is that if you keep the front lip on for too long and then decide to take it off, the paint underneath might not match with the rest of the car because paint gradually fades from being exposed to the sun.

It depends on the lip & body kit. Most do not require any extra drilling, although it is recommended to place a screw in an out-of-view location for extra insurance. Double-sided tape should keep everything in place, especially if you get a quality kit that fits well.

What are you thinking about adding?

You can put a GFX front lip on with 3m double sided tape, you can either get the 5 LBS or 10 LBS version.

GFX is going cheap via Lexus of Westminster if you haven't seen it yet. I just picked mine up not too long ago. 145 for side skirts and rear lip. I would call in to ask a couple of times because I talked to three different guys and got three different answers. The first time was that we don't have anything left in your color. The second time they told me only the sideskirts. Lastly, when I went in they told me that they had everything but the front lip.
