People say that the 09+ headlights changed. I'm not sure if anybody has confirmed this yet.

To the OP, you put tail lights for the title but you're asking about headlights?

IMO the headlights changed.

Yes IS-F outers will fit a 2IS but it won't be flush. The 09s stick out more from what I believe. Also the lights will be completely different.

It will look ridiculous, I'm pretty sure the 09 lights will stick out a lot and the leds and non leds won't look good together. Just get ISF outers.

Lets get this back on topic. If anybody has confirmed that the lights have changed let us know! I heard a few people say that it changed and that a company made eyelids made only for the 09+

alright. thanks nmpeter hehe

the eyelids only fit the 09+ models cos there's a slight difference on the 09+ headlights so it wont fit the previous models.

If you really want LED tails, you should get the LEDs they sell on eBay. They look awesome IMO.

the 09 headlights are half assed... the chrome... is not fully shiny chrome like the 07 headlights I had.. this is like a poorly chromed headlight.. it's a direct swap but.. i didn't notice any differentt curves or anything on the lense? i have 09 headlights now. when i think about it.. the 07 inside housing felt.. heavier? not so cheap feel compared to these 09 housings i partially blacked out

All 2006 to 2010 ISx50 tail lights have the LEDs in the both of the rear housings.. (including the IS-F)

The only bulbs that aren't LEDs are the Reverse & Turn Signal, again from 2006 to 2010.

From 09+ they just used 4 more LED's back there...(each side)
(not including the IS-F)

I think some of the confusion of the 2006-2008's being all LED stem from the outter bulbs appearing more "blurry" than the inner bulbs. I am guessing there is something within the exterior lens that gives it this fuzzy appearance. The inner LED's are plain to see with no lense distortion at all.
