mod (to my garage)
There is nothing I love more than to clean and detail my beloved IS, well doing it by the light of two garage door lights and two tiny energy saving bulbs just wasn't cutting it.
SO... a trip to Home Depot was in order:
This is my buddy joe getting midevil on some wires
there are 4 fixtures. There is one more up directly behind the tracks for the doors..and it is BRIGHT as the sun in there now...perfect for detailing!
But it was 3am and so since he helped i said we could do his car first..mine had to wait until morning
He likes to remind me how sexy his car is as often as possible...BUT! he is trading in the G35 for and IS soon...anyone wanna buy his G35 (it's perfect.)
So not a mod TO the Lex but a mod FOR the Lex

nope it was a breeze..about an hours worth of figuring where to put them and hanging them up.
The fixtures were $10 each from home depot and a box of 10 phillips bulbs was $15. Plus a $3 powerstrip
so around $60 total..ran them all to a power strip and hooked it into the same line that the doors are ran off of. They have their own switch (via the power strip)
this really is one of the best AND CHEAPEST things i have done as far as improvements to anything, and it helps soooo much especially for the installs (tiens are here now so will be done this week) and cleaning as well.
Once we had the lights hung we just routed all the cable along the ceiling with large flat tacks to the powerstrip ad called it good!
