Sorry guys, after working at an import shop for 6 years, I really did forget that swapping a bigger engine in is generally considered heavily modded. Its just so weird to me because I barely ever saw non swapped cars and it became such a normal thing to me, like doing an intake, LOL.

awesome, i sense another bad driver with a fast car on the loose, just what we need..... even if you DO race and you DO win, what do you prove, that youre a more dangerous driver? i hope youre proud

Like almost everyone says take it to the track, the is350 is fun at the track even funner than at the streets since all you gonna be getting are people that want to race you rolling 40 mph or any other roll....I have done both just to try with the same car my friends srt4 and yup killed him at the 1/4 of mile but he raped me on top end in the street, after that I always drag race it in my local track and love how this car launches, use to drive a fully bolts on srt4 and my stock is350 does a great job replacing it....

Just don't race any 335i's, in a controlled environment (same driver, same track, same weather etc) http://www.insideline.com/bmw/3-seri...us-is-350.html the 335i pulls pretty hard on the is350.

^^this guy keeps coming in here for no fricking reason except to talk up the 335. look, if you don't own a lexus, don't even come in here. honestly, it's people like you that give bmw drivers a bad name; always talking up your car like some self-entitled *****. get over yourself and get a life. oh and for your information, edmunds doesn't mean ****

Yeah pulls hard every time right.
"Same driver" is possibly one of the more idiotic things you've suggested, for a couple of very obvious reasons. I'll let you save face and ponder them instead of telling you the answers outright.

hahahaha this guy is so stupid... he probably doesent even own a 335 just some bmw fan boy , long story short 335 and the is350 is pretty much tied and its a drivers race
but in the end ur bimmer might not even make it to the finish line might break down on the way haaha... lexus interior and reliability >bimmer all day long not to be biased but having driven both and my buddys own 335s and are pretty much all trying to sell there cars

I am a lurker here. My previous car that BMW bought back is a 135i and it pulls a lot harder than the is350. Stock for stock the BMW's suspension is better equiped for high speed as well, other than straight away I believe BMW will win hands down on all speed related contest. Modified, those N54 turbo engines are susceptible to tunes, so I wouldn't drag them from a light either. I bought the 350 for reliability and service, not for performance, which will be fulfilled in 2-3 years by a cayman.
