.4 faster in a quarter mile from the test really means it pulls "pretty hard" on the is350...

Sorry to burst your bubble. I owned a 335i sedan with 4 people including me and a dog in my car. All specs online are BS unless i see it from a everyday person with video proof.

I don't think ANY honda with every bolt on avail for it can touch the is350

Closest honda I can think of is maybe the nsx or the s2k heavily modded or boosted
LOL, MAYBE a nsx? NSX will own a is350 for sure. As long as any honda that has been modified correctly. it doesn't even need to be heavily modified. A swap and turbo will easily own a is350. Hate to ***** on my own car, but there are alot of cars that will own us.

Alot of people have all motor K series setups in hatches and so on and those can go 12's NO problem
Agreed

oh really lets take off the twin turbos away from the 335i and then race, or lets take 40grand to a bmw dealreship and see if you can get a 335i with any options.

True, back when I purchased my 335i coupe I got it for a bit over 50k OTD. The only option I had on it that I don't have on my current IS 350 was nav.

Had to sell it prematurely at a loss (obviously) for reliability issues, and picked up my current new IS 350 for 40k exactly OTD.

In retrospect I realized my IS 350 came with a lot of options standard that cost extra for the 3. Something simple like heated seats, for example, was coupled with 2 relatively useless features and bundled into an extra $1000 option, whereas this (and a lot more) was covered comprehensively in the IS's premium package.

I got lit up by an e63 amg today, both of us were going 35mph until my lane had to merge into his before we merge onto the freeway, thought it was just a regular e350 so I smashed the gas to get infront, but nope this guy just ran away from me to let me see his quad pipes and that amg badge.

Which is why a 335i is more fairly compared to an IS-F, the prices are a lot closer once you option the BMW to compare fairly to the Lexus, and the F'll hand the BMW its rear badly unless you go ahead and mod the BMW.

335i VS IS350. It's close, both have been out a while now and there have been lots and lots of races. Generally speaking, though, stock for stock, If you raced 100 different 335i's against 100 different IS350's, it's the 350 that would take the greater percentage of wins. I think the lowest recorded time for a stock IS350 was around 13.2.

road and track cites it at 13.5 flat in the 1/4.

Hell with slicks + custom intake, exhaust, midpipe and most importantly VERY cold weather you can get into the high 12s as you can see, but those are not with street tires.
I went 12.60 in the 1/4 7.9 in the 1/8th and had a 1.7 60' on street tires..

Your car is hardly stock. Plus, a 100 shot? Please.

Size: 714 Bytes but intake exhaust and a small shot of nitrous is nothing at all in the world of modified cars and what I was saying was more directed toward carlx saying that you need drag radials to break 12's

Ummmm... Actually lowest recorded time was 12.8 1/4 mile. For a STOCK
Is350 I posted the video few pages back on this thread

So if windex is gettin 12.6 with intake exhaust and 100 shot, he can do better
