One further observation

Apart from the IS having a Kit or not, I've also come to appreciate the actual design of the spokes can influence how 'big' a 20 looks.

Some designs with long, straight spokes with full reverse lip will optically look bigger then something like these Mesh 8's.

Or a 20inch full face wheel will look huge, compared to a staggered 20inch with lip.... anyway, just a further observation.

^^ yeah, mxis350 - I believe he told you they were 24's, but I doubt they actually were. I don't think 24's will fit on our car even without a drop.

Actually, now that I think about it, its impossible, there's no way 24's will fit on our cars.

I have to disagree here. 20's can be pulled off with the right wheel, kit and drop. I've seen PLENTY IS's with 19's that look like garbage. Some people aren't going for the so called "slammed" look.I'm at that stage in my life I'm looking for a nice clean, simple look. Yes, Rob and some others rides, are sexy as hell, but I can't see myself riding around town with a new born and a wife in a ride like his.

Below are 20's and I think the car is simple and clean. (MiaLex samething, simple and clean)

i agree with the "not riding around town with a wife & kids in a ride that slammed with a fitment like that" but then again i just turned 22 and wont have to worry about kids for a while (crosses fingers) and the gf doesnt mind the ride or the steep inclines etc, she just enjoys being taken out and pointing out how many people stare haha!

....Thanks for making my point........We all have to grow up sometime I've got 9 years on ya, cars have to go from sick looking, to simple and clean for older women.

I'm sure the GF loves being the center of attention everywhere ya'll go.

Well yeah, I guess I should of re-phrased my original post about 19's. I absolutely hate the super ‘dumped’ look. Looks ghetto. Looks like there either something wrong with the cars suspension, or you have a car full of people in the back seat. I don’t understand the ‘tucked’ look.

My main reason for starting the thread a while back was, at the moment, there was all this talk about "20's are too big for the IS".

Good points and I agree, especially in your first paragraph, not to mention performance and ride impact. But I still enjoy seeing the show cars setup for parkin lot pimpin, just for fun.

But your main purpose for the original posted topic is understood.
