the best i saw was 29.4 with cruise set at ~85 with sound system pumping and a/c on when i drove out to pick my mid pipes up from chris at sns, about 55-60 miles away.

ann i constantly see 23-24. i live a mile from work and i drive just about everywhere. closer to 20-22 if i stay just city.

I've done 34mpg driving from Miami to Fort Myers with a range of 399 miles when I fill the tank. My current range is 395 no matter how hard I try I can't get it over the 400 mile mark

One thing ive noticed with the is250 is that when you get up to speed and let off the gas or are slightly on the gas, the car doesnt slow down significantly like most other cars due which helps with the great gas mileage!! Great daily!

my cousin does around 29-30 MPG consistently. her commute to work is about 75% highway. ive seen it go as high as 31.8, which is pretty good for the 350. she drives pretty aggressive, so 22 is typical for her hwy driving most times.

Interesting how the mileage(s) attained by most 250 drivers supercede those recommended by the manufacturer. 35mpg HGWY & 24-25 City- (Almost never below speed limit)

I was actually wondering if anyone knows how they calculate and give the city and highway expected miles per gallon as i believe my '09 is rated at 21 city and 29 highway and i consistently see ~34mpg highway. It must figure MOSTLY highway, not all, to make it 29mpg is my guess.

I matched that exactly last week driving from Miami to Lake Worth. I filled up in Miami, and drove it and the needle barely came off F. When I checked the computer, it said 34.8 MPG. It made me question the gas quality purchased. BTW, I was driving between 70-80 MPH. During the week, I split 50_50 hwy city, and average 27 MPG, but I do not hammer the pedal to the metal either, well, only when necessary.

This weekend I went from Louisville to Indy and averaged 28.7 (IS350) which is 9/10 mpg more than I get when I am just riding around in the city. That was cruising at 75, maybe I should have gone 80 for the better mpgs...

Of note, When I lived in So. Cal and had a G35, I think the best gas you could get was 91, here I get 93. Not sure if that makes any difference.

^^ fake
In that case I can get up to 55mpg after fueling up since the street that leads to my house is downhill.

Now here's my recent miles to a tank,

My best has been 34.2mpg from LA to SF non stop.
