Actually yes the number is real but the truth behind it isn't. See after filling up if you let's say reset your mpg avg or per tank and say speed up and roll down a hill without gassing it your mpg will skyrocket. Aside of that fact there is no chance an IS350 going 68mph at 2,000rpm after a fill-up can put out 38mpg unless your going downhill
