I just did a trip from Northridge (L.A.) to Carpinteria (Santa Barbara) today and achieved 34.5 mpg. Or at least that's what the computer read as I pulled to a stop. The trip took one hour and seven minutes, averaging speeds of 65-75. No A/C, sunroof open, and headlights on. My 2003 A4 1.8T CVT did 33.7 on the same trip and was rated 23/29 before the EPA adjustment drop. The RWD IS250 automatic, as we know, is currently rated 21/29, or 24/32 before the EPA adjustment. The trip back home (more uphill and in some heavy fog) yielded 32.1 mpg. Not half bad!

I guess that's in line with my IS250AWD gettoing 30.5out/29.5return on a recent 6hr trip from W.Hartford,CT to Rochester,NY. I would expect the AWD to get a lower mileage than a RWD.

Wow, Fizzboy7... that's really good. My average (mix city/hwy) is about 24-25. On one trip from New Orleans to Houston, though, I got a solid 32.2 mpg. Granted, that was going at 80-82 mph with AC and headlights on!

My best in the AWD was 31 avg doing 60 on the highway to the mall lol.
On my trip to RI from NJ doing normal highway speed and plenty of speeding and passing yields around 27 mpg

I actually achieved about the same highway mileage few weeks ago going from Anaheim to San Diego starting at half tank of gas. I remember the display shows 34.4mpg when I got to SD and 32.5mpg on the way back (guess I was in a hurry to get home going a little over 80). Mine is also 250RWD.
